New Years

New Years Resolutions

- This year I'm NOT making them.

- I'm just going to try my hardest.

Every year we put ourselves down, make out that this year we didn't do good enough. That next year we're going to be new woman. Doing everything that we didn't do this year, next year. "I will lost weight, I will go to the gym, I will eat my 5 fruit and veg every day, I will be a better person" But why do we bother? It get's to the middle of the year and a) we've forgotten what we even said as our New Years resolutions and b) we've most likely failed in all of them. It gets to the end of the year and we wish this year away to make the next better. But we do it every year.

So this year, I'm giving up on the ole New Years resolution. Instead I'm just going to try hard to make the most of the next year. A years a long time. A very long time in fact. It's so easily wasted. I don't want to start the year feeling bad about little things, I don't want to give up chocolate, and if I want to exercise I'm either going to or I'm not.

The point of this is you don't need a New Year to change your life, you can do that any day of the year. Make the most of everyday. If it's not right change it.
